Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you. It helps to include your device and OS version, and — for a scanning issue — a photo of the board that gave you trouble.
Scanning tips
Most misreads come down to framing and light. For a clean scan:
- Fill the frame. Move in until the grid nearly fills the viewfinder and the corner brackets snap in.
- One board at a time. If two puzzles are on the page, move closer so only the one you want is framed.
- Angles are fine, straight-on is best. Puzzlesight corrects perspective automatically, but a square-on shot gives the sharpest digits.
- Kill the glare. Tilt away from a lamp or window reflecting off glossy paper.
- Fix a misread in a tap. After importing, tap any wrong cell and set the correct value — and mark whether it's a printed given or your own entry.
Pro & purchases
What does Pro include?
Puzzlesight Pro is a one-time purchase that removes all ads — including rewarded ones. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
I paid but don't see Pro / I switched phones
Open Settings and choose Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought with, your Pro unlock comes back at no charge.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, so refunds go through them — via reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or Google Play's order history. If something went wrong on our end, email us and we'll help sort it out.
Moving to a new phone
There are two ways to bring your puzzles and progress across:
- Recovery email (your whole profile). In Settings, add a recovery email on your old phone. On the new one, use it to restore your profile — streak, daily results, and leaderboard standing included.
- Puzzle code (a single board). Every puzzle has a share code. Copy it on the old phone, then on the new one open Library → Import puzzle code and paste it in to add that board to your library.
Your Pro unlock isn't tied to either — restore it with Restore Purchases (see above).
Daily challenge & friends
Why is everyone's puzzle the same?
The daily challenge is one shared board for the whole world, so times are comparable. Solve it before the day rolls over to keep your streak — a mistake cap means it counts.
How do I add friends?
Share your invite link from the app. Once a friend joins, you'll see each other on the leaderboard. We never read your contacts — connections only happen through a link you choose to share.
